In the Ultimate Football Welwyn Garden City 6aside league, Nick Syke's Hedgehog FC were determined to recover from their earlier defeat in the Ultimate Football Easter Cup as they played Colonel Getafe later in the schedule. An under-resourced Getafe side struggled to cope with the frequent goal attacks from their opponents and it was perhaps inevitable that front-man Mason Bush would score for Hedgehog. Bush netted a second shortly after and Brodie Peters scored late on to put the game beyond Getafe's reach.
